Family Psychiatry and Therapy is a telehealth-only practice serving patients across all of New Jersey and New York. Every appointment — psychiatric evaluation, medication management, therapy — happens by secure HIPAA-compliant video. There is no commute, no waiting room, and no need to live near any specific town to be seen.

That said, we have deep roots in Bergen County. Most of our patients live in northern New Jersey, with the largest concentrations in Bergen and Passaic counties. The pages below give a closer look at how we work with patients in the towns we see most often. If your town is not listed, that does not mean we cannot help — telehealth lets us see patients statewide.

How telehealth works at FPT

Every appointment is conducted by secure video on a HIPAA-compliant platform. You attend from a private space — home, a quiet office, anywhere with a stable internet connection. Sessions feel like in-person sessions: a real conversation with a real licensed clinician, with the same evaluation depth, the same medication-management thoroughness, and the same therapy modalities.
