Specialties:

Ethan works with children, teenagers, and adults on anxiety, ADHD, and emotional regulation, and partners closely with parents to support progress at home.

When your child is struggling, the entire family feels it. Parents often find themselves wondering how to help, why everyday situations have become so difficult, or whether they’re doing the right thing. Whether your child is experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), emotional outbursts, school avoidance, behavioral challenges, difficulty with emotional regulation, or struggles with friendships and everyday life, Ethan Rosler provides a calm, supportive environment where children, adolescents, adults, and families feel understood, respected, and empowered to move forward.

Known for his gentle, reassuring presence, Ethan has a natural ability to connect with children and teenagers, including those who may initially be hesitant or resistant to therapy. He believes meaningful change begins with trust and works at each client’s pace to create a safe, welcoming environment where they feel comfortable opening up. Families appreciate Ethan’s calm demeanor, thoughtful approach, and ability to build genuine connections while helping parents better understand the challenges their child is facing.

Ethan has extensive experience working with children and adolescents experiencing anxiety disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), OCD, emotional regulation difficulties, executive functioning challenges, school avoidance, depression, behavioral concerns, and low self-esteem. His experience in a therapeutic school setting provided him with the opportunity to support students with significant emotional, behavioral, social, and academic needs, including children who struggled to succeed in traditional educational environments. Working alongside parents, teachers, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary treatment teams has given Ethan a comprehensive understanding of how emotional and behavioral challenges affect every aspect of a child’s life, and how coordinated, individualized care helps children succeed both at home and at school.

Ethan believes that parents are among the most important members of a child’s treatment team. In addition to helping children and adolescents develop emotional awareness, coping skills, resilience, and confidence, he partners closely with parents to better understand their child’s unique needs, strengthen communication, reduce conflict, and develop practical strategies they can confidently implement at home. His parent coaching approach empowers caregivers with tools that reinforce progress between sessions and foster healthier family relationships. Ethan’s goal is not only to help children feel better, but also to help parents feel more confident, supported, and hopeful.

For adolescents and young adults, Ethan understands the unique pressures of today’s world, including academic expectations, social media, peer relationships, identity development, and increasing independence. He helps clients strengthen emotional resilience, improve self-confidence, navigate relationships, and develop practical skills that support long-term emotional well-being and success.

Ethan also works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, and the demands of everyday life. Using evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and strengths-based, person-centered therapy, he tailors treatment to each individual’s unique strengths, needs, and goals. His style is collaborative, compassionate, and practical, balancing emotional support with concrete strategies clients can use in their daily lives.

A lifelong Bergen County resident, Ethan earned his Master of Social Work from Fordham University and has experience providing therapy in therapeutic school settings, community mental health programs, intensive in-home services, and outpatient practice. His diverse clinical background enables him to confidently support individuals and families facing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges.

Outside of the office, Ethan enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, staying active, watching sports, and exploring new coffee shops. He believes that maintaining balance, nurturing meaningful relationships, and finding joy in everyday life are important parts of emotional wellness.

Whether you’re seeking support for your child, looking for guidance as a parent, helping your teenager navigate a difficult stage of life, or working through your own personal challenges, Ethan is committed to helping you and your family build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and hope. His goal is for every client and family to leave therapy with practical tools, renewed optimism, and the confidence to navigate future challenges long after therapy has ended.
