Meet Valeria Capozzi, LAC
Valeria Capozzi is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a passion for helping people feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in their lives. She supports individuals, couples, and families through life’s challenges with empathy, curiosity, and clinical expertise.
Val earned her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling and Wellness from New York University and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from Arizona State University. Her clinical background includes working with teens, families, couples, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and PTSD. Drawing from evidence-based methods like CBT and ACT, as well as mindfulness and existential therapy, Val helps clients explore what truly matters to them—and how to live more in alignment with those values.
At the heart of her work is a belief that growth happens through authentic connection. Clients often describe Val as warm, down-to-earth, and genuinely present. She meets each person where they are and honors the unique path they’ve walked.
When she’s not in session, Val can usually be found walking by the water, reflecting on life’s bigger questions, or spending time with her family. She loves deep conversations, spontaneous moments of laughter, and finding beauty in the ordinary.
If you’re looking for a therapist who brings both heart and skill to the work, Val offers a space where you can show up as your full self—and begin to build a life that feels more like your own.
