Meet Eileen VanDeMark, LMSW
Specialties:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Eileen is a thoughtful and compassionate therapist who believes meaningful growth begins with feeling truly
understood. She earned her Master of Social Work from NYU’s Silver School of Social Work in 2021 and has since worked with individuals across the lifespan—from children to older adults—in both individual and group settings.
Eileen draws from evidence-based approaches such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In individual sessions, she guides clients in developing skills for emotional regulation, self-awareness, and effective coping—tools that can bring lasting change and greater balance in daily life.
Her therapeutic style blends warmth, authenticity, and curiosity. Eileen creates a space that is both supportive and gently challenging, helping clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and move toward meaningful personal growth. She believes in meeting clients as whole human beings—valuing their experiences and helping them reconnect with their own strengths and sense of possibility.
Outside of her clinical work, Eileen enjoys spending time with family, reading, baking, and watching movies—activities that reflect her love of creativity, connection, and finding joy in life’s simple moments.
