Meet Zisa Belfer, LSW, Licensed Social Worker

Zisa  is a trained bilingual psychotherapist from Columbia University. She has treated patients with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, substance abuse, incarceration, anger management, eating disorders, physical and sexual abuse as well as trauma and PTSD. Zisa has experience working with individuals as well couples and groups of all ages. She uses CBT and DBT as her main modalities of therapy, but believes that good old fashioned talk therapy coupled with solution focused therapies are great ways to achieve concrete results.
