Dr. Ugochi Abazie is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Rutgers University.
Dr. Abazie’s clinical experience is across life span from child to older adults in psychiatric emergencies, inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Abazie utilizes cultural-sensitive approach in the management of mental illness across diverse cultures. Dr. Abazie employs psychotherapy and psychopharmacology in the management of patients with mental illness. In addition, Dr. Abazie has Buprenorphine (Suboxone) training.
